How to report an error

Use the contact page to report any factual, methodological or framing error. Include the URL of the page, the specific claim that you believe is wrong, and (where possible) a published source supporting the correction.

Triage standard

  • Factual errors with a credible published source: reviewed and resolved within five working days.
  • Editorial framing concerns: discussed by the editorial team and, where appropriate, the page is updated.
  • Promotional / supplier-related concerns: treated as a compliance priority and resolved as quickly as we can verify.

What we will do

  • Update the page with the corrected information.
  • Add the date of the correction to the "last reviewed" line.
  • For material corrections, record a brief note in the page changelog where relevant.

What we will not do

  • Remove content that is critical of any manufacturer, supplier or product if the criticism is grounded in published evidence.
  • Treat manufacturer or supplier requests as more authoritative than published evidence and regulatory documents.
  • Re-frame content to be promotional in response to commercial pressure.

Versioning

Each page has a "last reviewed" date that reflects the most recent substantive review. We do not maintain a public commit-by-commit changelog at the URL level, but we will state "corrected on [date]" in the body when a specific factual claim has been corrected.
